2018 Season – ACU National 250GP Championship

(With Select European Races)

Andy will be returning to his favourite and most successful class of racing for 2018, the Grand Prix 250cc class.

Andy last competed in the GP250cc class full time in 2011, having won the British Championship in 2010 and becoming a European Cup winner in 2011.

The GP250cc class is now beginning to feature at a number of Classic Motorcycle events around Europe and this is where Andy is aiming to be riding later in the season once he and the new machine is up to speed.

The machine that Andy will be campaigning is a Honda RS 250 NXA which is the last model that Honda produced through to 2009. The bike is being built at the moment and testing will start in April ahead of a slightly late start to the season in June in the National Championship at Andy’s local Snetterton circuit.

As the season progresses the team will decide when the time is right to head to Europe to compete but until that time the National Championship will provide great competition to sharpen Andy’s riding and get the set up correct on the bike.

A sample of meetings is shown on the events page but these are provisional so please check before travelling to an event to support the team.
